Mayor of Madrid City, Spain, Manuela Carmena inaugurated Friday the fourth edition of International Madrid Exhibition for Cultures taking place since Dec. 14 and lasts until end of the year. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Egyptian Ambassador in Madrid Tarek Serag, Culture Attaché Ahmed Qotb and Egyptian Community Chief Fathi Soliman.
Dozens of foreign ministers and expatriates took part in the ceremony which witnessed various cultural and Folklore activities.
Carmena visited the Egyptian wing showing traditional products from Khan al-Khalili market and home-made national dishes such as Koshary and Egyptian eastern dessert.
The mayor expressed her pride in the Egyptian Pharaonic antiques which reflect how great the Egyptian Ancient Civilization was.
