Egypt's agricultural exports achieved new records during the current year. And Minister of Agriculture El-Koseir revealed that agricultural exports exceeded 5 million tons for the first time since the beginning of the year, with an increase of 760 thousand tons over the same period of the year.
The minister stated that citrus exports exceeded the barrier of one million and 900 thousand tons for the first time in the history of Egyptian exports, potato exports also approached 900 thousand tons for the first time as well, and the total agricultural exports during the period from January 1, 2023 to July 26, 2023 amounted to about 5 million and 15 thousand and 764 tons of Agricultural products, while they amounted to about 4,255,138 tons during the same period last year.
The list of the most important Egypt's agricultural exports includes: "citrus fruits, potatoes, fresh onions, sweet potatoes, pomegranates, garlic, strawberries, beans, guavas, tomatoes, grapes, and mangoes."
