The voting process in the 2024 presidential elections resumes, for the second day in a row.
Polling stations in Egypt's 27 provinces opened at 9 a.m. local time, Monday for voters to cast their ballots.
It is worth mentioning that, the presidential race features notable candidates, including incumbent Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, represented by the star symbol; Farid Zahran, leader of the Egyptian Democratic Party, represented by the sun symbol; Abdel Sund Ymama, leader of the Wafd Party, represented by the palm tree symbol; and Hazem Omar, represented by the ladder symbol.
The 2024 presidential election in Egypt is scheduled to take place over three days, from December 10 to December 12, as per the timeline set by the National Election Authority. Voting hours are from 9 AM to 9 PM. The counting of votes is set to conclude on December 13, with the final results expected to be announced on December 18.
