Egypt’s Attorney General, Counselor Mohamed Shawky, welcomed Sudan’s Attorney General, Counselor Al-Fateh Tayfour, in the presence of several senior officials from the Egyptian Public Prosecution.
At the outset of the meeting, Shawky expressed his warm welcome to his esteemed guest, highlighting the strong historical ties between the two nations.
The meeting focused on strengthening judicial cooperation mechanisms, particularly in combating various forms of crime and exchanging legal and judicial expertise.
Prior to the meeting, the Sudanese Attorney General visited the Institute for Criminal Research and Training at the Public Prosecution, where he was received by the institute’s director.
He toured the institute’s facilities and training halls, praising its readiness and the attached guest house for hosting Public Prosecution members.
