Egyptian Short Film "Eghterab" to Compete in Al Ain Film Festival

On Friday, Al Ain Film Festival announced the participation of the Egyptian short film "Eghterab" at one of the festival's competitions that dedicated to the produced films influenced by the worldwide lockdown.

Directed by Moataz Abdel Khalek, the film based on observing the daily actions of its characters in the quarantine and shed the light on their feelings and their isolation.

The film is a collaboration project between Egyptian, Emirati, and Morroco producers and starring Ali El Bohali, Mahdi Bukhris, and Mohamed Soufi among others.

Moreover, a number of Egyptian filmmakers will participate in the festival's UAE Residents Falcon Short Films” Competition such as "Brown Woman On The Way" by Mahmoud Mahmoud, "Feng Shui" by Mohamed Farag, "May Twenty Seventh of this year" by Mostafa Murad, "10" by Mohamed Samir, and "Ten" by Youssef Fresca.

The third annual Al Ain Film Festival will take place between 23-27 January and it will witness the participation of 378.
