The Russian House in Cairo organized an Economic Russian-Egyptian Forum in the presence of the President of the International Cooperation Department for the Russian Presidential Program. The forum saw the participation of the representatives of 20 Russian firms, and institutions, and 70 Egyptian corporations. It targeted boosting the bilateral ties between Egypt and Russia in various fields.
Sherif Gad, the Secretary-General of the Egyptian-Russian Friendship Association, opened the forum, welcoming the Russian Presidential Initiative, launched by Dr. Amr El Dib. Gad asserted in the meeting that there are various promising chances for Russian investors in the Egyptian market in light of the cooperation between the political administrations of both countries.
On his side, El Dib reflected that the Russian Reverse Presidential Administration program, which cooperated in organizing the forum, targets creating forces for the senior positions in Russia, and it strongly aims to enhance the cooperation between both countries.
He added that this program can introduce several effective initiatives for enhancing the cooperation between several countries in the Middle East, especially Egypt which is a strategic partner for Russia.
El Dib expressed his sincere pleasure for the presence of more than 70 Egyptian corporations in the forum where the trade, and exportation-related issues were discussed.
