The Egyptian Red Crescent launched today the "Zad Al-Izza .. From Egypt to Gaza" convoy 176, carrying a number of urgent humanitarian aid trucks toward the Gaza Strip.
This initiative is part of its ongoing efforts as the national mechanism for coordinating aid to Gaza.
The convoy included more than 155,000 food baskets, approximately 185 tons of flour, over 1,435 tons of relief materials and medicinal supplies, and about 1,055 tons of petroleum materials to operate hospitals and vital facilities in the Strip.
The Egyptian Red Crescent also dispatched essential winter supplies, which included more than 14,405 pieces of winter clothing, approximately 985 blankets, 375 mattresses, 10,370 tarpaulins, as well as 2,055 tents to shelter those affected.
Furthermore, the Egyptian Red Crescent continues its humanitarian services at the Rafah crossing in preparation for receiving the 34th batch of wounded, sick, and injured Palestinians, both arriving and departing, along with their companions, while facilitating their crossing procedures.
