Egyptian Pound Appreciates 3 Pt. Against USD

The exchange rate of the Egyptian pound rose between 1-3 piastres against the US dollar during Tuesday trading.

The exchange rate at Commercial International Bank (CIB) went up two piasters against the greenback to record EGP 16.5  for purchase and EGP 16.6 for sale. The pound rose in Bank Audi by 3 piastres to register EGP 16.51 for sale and EGP 16.61 for purchase.

The Egyptian currency also grew by 2 piastres in the banks of Al-Baraka and the Arab International Bank (AIB) to settle at EGP 16.53 for purchase, 16.63 pounds for sale.

The pound climbed 1 piastre in the National Bank Of Egypt (NBE), Banque Misr, The Bank of Alexandria, Arab African International Bank (AAIB) to record 16.53 pounds for purchase, and 16.61 pounds for sale.

As for the Misr Iran Development Bank, Egyptian Gulf and the National Bank of Greece Egypt, the currency also rose 1 piastre.
