Egyptian, Pakistani, Jordanian Joint Drills Fajr Al Sharq 1 Concluded

The Egyptian, Pakistani, and Jordanian Special Forces paratroopers concluded Sunday the joint drills called Fajr Al Sharq 1 (Dawn of the East 1) that was held over the past two weeks on Pakistani soil.

The final phase included the implementation of practical drills on storming an armed terrorist outpost and clearing it of terrorists.

The participating troops besieged and secured vital buildings and pushed the main fighting forces to eliminate the terrorist groups in the place. They carried out a medical evacuation of the injured inpiduals by helicopters.

The exercise reflected the outstanding level of the troops participating in the event and their ability to carry out joint group work with high accuracy and efficiency.

The training was included by carrying out a leap of friendship during which the flags of the participating countries were displayed.

At the end of the final stage, Lt. Gen. Nadim Zaki Mang, the commander of Pakistan's First Corps, delivered a speech in which he welcomed Egyptian and Jordanian forces participating in the training.

He stressed that overcoming the threats of terrorism spread throughout the world comes through military cooperation between all countries.

Mang expressed the desire of the Pakistani side to share all experiences with friendly countries.

The Egyptian side also expressed the importance of the drills in the exchange of combat experience in light of the distinguished military relations between the three countries.

The exercise showed the level of the participating forces in every stage, from the planning and coordination stage to the implementation phase.

The final stage was attended by some leaders and officers of the Egyptian, Pakistani and Jordanian armed forces, the Egyptian military attaché and the Jordanian military attaché.
