Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriates, received a phone call today, Sunday, from Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The call comes within the framework of ongoing consultation and coordination between the two countries regarding regional developments and joint efforts.
The discussion focused on current efforts to advance the diplomatic track between the United States and Iran.
Both ministers expressed their aspirations for a second round of negotiations that could lead to understandings aimed at stabilizing a ceasefire, reducing escalation, and ending the conflict.
Moreover, they emphasized that negotiation and dialogue remain the only path toward resolving the ongoing dispute.
At the conclusion of the call, the two ministers agreed to maintain continuous coordination and joint consultation on various relevant developments to support security and stability in the region.
