A telephone call was held between Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates, and Sheikh Abdullah Al-Yahya, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the sisterly State of Kuwait.

The phone talks came as part of the continuous communication and consultation between the two countries to strengthen bilateral relations and exchange views on regional issues of mutual concern.

During the call, Abdelatty emphasized the deep-rooted brotherly ties between Egypt and Kuwait, based on mutual understanding and close coordination, noting the shared commitment to advancing cooperation across various sectors—particularly in economic, trade, and investment fields—to serve the interests of both nations.

The phone call also addressed the latest developments in the Gaza Strip.

In this regard, Abdelatty reviewed Egypt’s ongoing efforts to implement the requirements of the second phase, ensure full and unconditional access to humanitarian aid, and create the necessary conditions for early recovery and reconstruction, stressing the absolute rejection of any measures that would undermine the territorial integrity of Palestine or impose new realities on the ground.

Additionally, both ministers discussed the situation in Yemen, with the Egyptian Foreign Minister highlighting the importance of achieving calm and de-escalation through an inclusive Yemeni-Yemeni dialogue to reach a comprehensive settlement of the crisis away from unilateral actions, thereby contributing to the security and stability of the brotherly Yemeni people.
