Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly chaired, Thursday, Egyptian-Jordanian talks session with his Jordanian counterpart Bisher Al-Khasawneh, stressing full support for the joint cooperation between the two countries in every field.
The session was held at the Cabinet’s headquarters in the presence of a ministerial delegation from both countries, in addition to a number of officials.
Madbouly welcomed Al-Khasawneh and the high-ranking delegation accompanying him during his visit to Cairo today, affirming that these frequent visits reflected the strong and brotherly relation between Jordan and Egypt.
On his part, Al-Khasawneh cited the President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi’s historic visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, affirming that Sisi is a powerful symbol for the state.
Al-Khasawneh also noted the importance of strengthening the frameworks of tripartite Egyptian-Jordanian-Iraqi cooperation.
The joint talks session witnessed an agreement to hold the joint higher committee meeting between the two countries, in the Jordanian capital, Amman, next March.
The PMs stressed the importance of this session in order to discuss all matters, formulate visions for projects that can be activated, and boost cooperation in the proposed areas.
They also asserted that they exert efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation, in parallel with efforts to boost tripartite cooperation between Egypt, Jordan and Iraq.
