Egyptian-Iraqi Tour at National Training Academy

Minister of Planning and Economic Development Hala El Said visited Thursday the National Training Academy, accompanied by Iraqi Minister of Planning Khaled Battal Al-Najm and Ahmed Nayef Al-Dulaimi, Iraq's ambassador to Cairo. They were received by Dr. Rasha Ragheb, President of the Academy.

The visit included a tour at the academy, an explanation of its most important programs, and a meeting with a number of trainees in executive leadership programs.

During the meeting, Ragheb gave a detailed presentation of the achievements made during the past years. She also explained the most important programs that have been implemented that targeted Egyptian youth, government workers, deputy governors, and some specialized courses, as well as what has been achieved in preparing and training African youth.

On her part, El Said praised the development and ability of the Academy to provide levels of competition for global academies in the field of training and preparing youth for leadership through distinguished programs and partnerships with the most prestigious international expertise houses.

El Said affirmed that the presidential support received by the Academy was the main driver in achieving great rates in preparing trainees and the quality of young people enrolled in the academy, as well as the scientific management of the system in general.

On his part, the Iraqi Minister of Planning praised what he had seen and listened to and the achievements made in the National Training Academy. He expressed his desire to implement joint training programs with the Academy.
