Global entertainment platform Netflix will stream the Egyptian "Gunshot" film starting from today, Friday.

Directed by Karim El Shenawy, the film starred Ruby, Ahmed El Fishawy, Mohamed Mamdouh, Aarfa Abdel Rasoul, and Asmaa Abu El Yazid. It also included several honorary appearances for various stars such as Hana Shiha, Safaa El Toukhy, Ahmed Malik, and Samy Maghawry.

Screened for the first time in Egypt in 2018, "Gunshot" gained huge success in the homeland, before its display in several Arab countries such as KSA, UAE, Bahrain, and Kuwait.

Moreover, the film participated in dozens of international and national film festivals like El Gouna Film Festival (GFF), Malmo Arab Film Festiva (MAFF), and Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF).

The plot of the movie revolved around a mysterious murder that took place inside a demonstration. The story began with the arrival of a dead body to the autopsy.

Next, the examiner of the body observed that the dead was shot from a close distance unlike the other victims, so he teamed up with a journalist to identify the motives behind such a crime.
