The report of the Egyptian Export Control Authority (EECA) announced that Egypt's exports of food industries increased by 5% to $1.19 billion in the first quarter of 2022, compared to $1.13 billion in the same period last year.
Food industry exports in the first two months of 2022 amounted to about 625 million dollars, achieving a growth rate of 3% and a growth value of 17 million dollars, compared to the exports of the same period in 2021, which amounted to about 609 million dollars, according to the Export Council for Food Industries.
The Food Export Council stated that January 2022 exports amounted to about $300 million, with a growth rate of 12% compared to January 2021 exports, which amounted to $267 million.
