The Egyptian Embassy in Hungary successfully coordinated with both countries' authorities the return of 30 Egyptian expatriates who crossed the borders to Hungary from Ukraine.

They arrived moments ago in Cairo as the authorities managed to book an Egypt Air flight today from Budapest International Airport to Cairo.

Last week, the Egyptian Embassy in Kyiv announced that Egyptians in Ukraine can cross borders to Slovakia as it offered the Egyptians a no-visa entry in coordination with the Egyptian Embassy in Bratislava.

Therefore, the embassy asked Egyptians to send a photo of their passports to the officials in the Embassy.

Last week, the Egyptian Embassy in Kyiv urged all Egyptians in Ukraine to stay inside their cities and inside their homes, the embassy announced in a message posted on Facebook Friday night.

It added that all highways are now not safe for traveling or for moving from one city to another due to the emergence of military clashes.

Earlier on Friday, the Egyptian Embassy in Kyiv urged Egyptians in Odessa to move to the nearest point or station to the Romanian borders as the Egyptian authorities coordinated the return of the Egyptians in Ukraine who go to Romania via it.
