The Grand Theater of the Opera House will be showing tomorrow Egyptian film "Ehkili" (Tell me).
The film is directed and produced by Marian Khoury, owner of Misr International Films Company.
The film display is scheduled to take place at 6:30 pm at El Gala concerts; the film, described as a biographical film, competes in the official international competition of the Cairo Film Festival (CIFF) at its 41st session.

At 1:30 pm, the small theater will show the world premiere of the Algerian-French film “Parkour”, directed by Fatima Zamoum. It is among the movies to be selected for the Arab Cinema Horizons Competition Award.
The movie is to be proceeded, on 12 am, by "God exists and its name is Petronia", on the Grand Theater; it is directed by Tiona Strugar Mitevska. It is Macedon Belgian Slovenian Croatian French co-production.
It will be followed by the film "Special kind of calm" by the director of the international competition Michal Hugnor, at 2:30 pm in the Grand Theater.

As for today's seminars within the Cairo Days of Film Industry program, it will start with a seminar delivered by Director Abubakar Shawki, winner of Francois Chalets award at the Cannes Festival last year.
It will be attended by Eric Darbelov, president and co-founder of Roadside Attractions, on "Exploring the American Film Market" at 10:30 am Semiramis Intercontinental Hotel.
In his speech, he will touch on Darbelov's innovative plans for more than 10 years to launch premium films in theaters, through his Los Angeles Company, and establishing unique relationships with filmmakers, independent studios and digital platforms.
In this context, Roadside Attractions Company could produce 150 movies, with profits worth nearly $ 500 million.
This will be followed by a seminar titled "New Measures for the Entertainment Industry" at 12:30 pm, moderated by international media professor Colin Brown.
The following distinguished guests will take part in the event: Christoph Lobark, director of Cinemid, Eric Lajes, executive director at Pyramide, Muhannad al-Bakri, director of the Royal Film Commission in Jordan; Uzi Menakaya & Frederica St. Rose from Creative Artists Agency, Ida Martins, general manager at Media Luna, Lara Abu Al-Fayelat arom A List, and Stan McCoy of the Film Industry Association (EMEA).
On another hand, a symposium entitled "Under the microscope: the second golden age of Mexican cinema" will be held at the Hangar Theater in the Egyptian Opera House on 3 pm.
The discussion will be moderated by critic Mohammad Tariq, with guests from Mexican cinema, including scriptwriter and director Jeremo Ariaga, who was nominated for the Oscar, and won the best screenplay from the Cannes Film Festival, and director Gabriel Rebstein, winner of the best work award at the 2015 Berlin Film Festival.
Rebstein is the son of the famous Mexican Director Arturo Rebstein who presented the Mexican version of the "beginning and end" of Naguib Mahfouz.
