Egyptian Designer Marmar Halim Presents Spring/Summer 2021 Collection

Egyptian designer Marmar Halim presented her latest Spring/Summer 2021 collection this week, which featured unique and soft designs.

The collection is characterized by fine fabrics, light embroidery, and soft colors that are devoid of black.

Halim's collection was outlined in a photo session, taken in Dubai, where she lives and works.

The designer, who is also a creative director and founder of Marmar Halim Brand, received recently the Arab Women Awards 2020 in Fashion Category.

The Arab Woman Awards was virtually held, on October 14, its 11th annual awards ceremony, to celebrate the inspirational women across the UAE, who have played a vital role in the fight against the pandemic.

The event was held under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak al Nahyan.

This year’s award was held to help UN Women raise awareness for their coronavirus initiatives, which were dedicated to the women who have been actively creating a positive impact through the pandemic.

Halim was recognized for her vital role in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, as she did not suspend work at her factory after the virus break and began creating medical clothes and masks to assist in tackling the pandemic that the world was combating.

The designer noted that she had only done her duty towards the UAE that contained her since she arrived several years ago.

Halim added that she appreciates the UAE as much as she cherishes being an Egyptian, and what she did was just returning the favor.
