The Egyptian Committee for Gaza Relief has intensified food and relief assistance to the Gaza Strip as many international organizations scale back operations due to restrictions imposed by Israeli authorities.

The committee is playing a central role in sustaining humanitarian operations in Gaza, particularly as access constraints have limited the presence of several international aid groups.

Hundreds of aid trucks loaded with food supplies and relief materials have been prepared for delivery into Gaza. The shipments include comprehensive food packages designed to meet the basic needs of families, as well as supplies intended to support displaced Palestinians living in camps.

Aid efforts have become increasingly urgent after recent storms and severe weather conditions destroyed around 270,000 tents sheltering displaced families, further worsening humanitarian conditions in the enclave.

In addition to food assistance, Egyptian teams have been facilitating the evacuation of wounded Palestinians from Gaza to Egypt for medical treatment. Injured patients are transported daily through the Rafah border crossing and transferred to specialized hospitals according to the severity of their conditions.

Relief activities also extend beyond emergency aid. The Egyptian Committee for Gaza Relief has been working to restore schools and health clinics, operate displacement camps, and improve living conditions for civilians affected by the conflict.

Officials said aid packages bearing the Egyptian state emblem reflect Cairo’s continued humanitarian and diplomatic role in supporting Palestinians in Gaza during the ongoing crisis.
