The Egyptian army’s Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Mohamed Farid witnessed the measures of alignment and combat readiness of the elements of the armed forces in the western strategic direction.
The Egyptian military Spokesman, Colonel Tamer Al-Refae, announced on his official Facebook on Monday that "This matter comes within the framework of the general command plan to follow strict measures to protect the country's borders and national security on all strategic directions by land, sea, and air in cooperation between all the main branches and tactical formations of the armed forces.”
The Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces war inspected the measures taken to raise the levels of combat readiness, as well as presenting the decisions of the leaders at all levels and organizing cooperation between all elements of the formation of the strategic process for the land forces and the main branches of the armed forces.
"This aims to ensure that all elements of the tasks are executed accurately and in the specified times," Refae added.
A number of military commanders and officers discussed the manner of carrying out the planned tasks and how to face sharp and rapid changes during the conduct of hostilities.
Farid passed by the elements lined up to check on their readiness and their ability to carry out all the tasks and stand on the level of technical competence of weapons and equipment.
