Egyptian-Armenian Entrepreneur Leads Historic $10B AI Deal in Kazakhstan

On June 15, the American AI infrastructure specialist Firebird Inc. signed a strategic cooperation agreement package with the government of Kazakhstan valued at up to `$10 billion. The landmark deal aims to build a next-generation national artificial intelligence infrastructure, enhance advanced computing capabilities, and establish a globally competitive digital ecosystem.

The official value of the agreement was confirmed by the official source of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The signing ceremony took place in the capital, Astana, in the presence of:

• Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov

• Vice President of Advanced Technologies at NVIDIA

• Firebird Founders: Razmig Hovaghimian and Aleksandr Yesayan

• Senior government and technology officials, in addition to the U.S. Ambassador to Kazakhstan

The main project within the agreement centers on establishing a massive computing and artificial intelligence center, aligned with a vision to transform Kazakhstan into a leading technological hub in Eurasia. The fields of cooperation include:
