The Egyptian Ambassador to Albania Muhammad Haydar received, on Friday, the Mayor of Albanian capital, Tirana, Erion Veliaj to discuss ways to strengthen relations between the two friendly countries.
Haydar referred to the comprehensive development process that the two capitals are witnessing.
In addition, he reviewed the construction surge that Egyptian cities are experiencing, especially Cairo, through restoration and renewal projects for old neighborhoods, as well as expansion through new urban projects in order to accommodate the increase in population, as well as providing a better life for citizens.
The ambassador also hailed the continuous development processes he observes in the capital "Tirana", which would open up a wide field for cooperation and exchange of ideas and experiences between the two countries.
The ambassador invited Veliaj to visit Cairo and attend the ceremony of transferring royal mummies from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat.
Veliaj received the invitation with great appreciation, expressing his aspiration to visit Cairo, to discuss ways of cooperation and learn about the Egyptian experience in the field of cultural development and urbanization, in addition to the ideas which can be transported and applied in Tirana.
