The Egyptian Airports Company has dismissed circulating claims regarding a ban on the use of carton boxes inside Egyptian airports, confirming that these reports are “incorrect” and that no official decision has been issued in this regard.
In an official statement, the company clarified that information spreading on social media about prohibiting carton boxes in airports is unfounded. It urged the public and media outlets to verify information carefully and rely only on statements released by relevant authorities.
The company also warned against the spread of false news, stressing that it will take all necessary legal measures against individuals or entities responsible for disseminating misinformation.
The clarification comes amid growing concerns over the rapid spread of unverified reports online, particularly those related to travel procedures and airport services, which may affect passengers and cause confusion.
