Alaa Farouk, the Egyptian Minister of Agriculture announced the total agricultural exports, during January 1, 2024 until October 2, amounted to 6, 757,169 million tons, with an average dollar value of $3,952,943 billion, an increase of $932,700 million over the same period last year.
This came according to a report received by the Minister of Agriculture from Mohamed El-Mansi, Head of the Egyptian Agricultural Quarantine, as the report indicated that the most important agricultural exports are citrus fruits, potatoes, onions, grapes, beans, sweet potatoes, mango, tomatoes, garlic, strawberries, guava, and pomegranates.
The report indicated that Egyptian agricultural products are in increasing demand from all countries of the world due to their high quality.
He added that Egypt exports more than 350 commodities to about 160 global markets, including the largest markets in Europe, America, China, Japan, and most Arab and African countries.
