In light of Civil Aviation Ministry directives, in coordination with all the concerned authorities, EgyptAir has decided to suspend its flights to and from Chinese cities.

According to this action, Hanzo flights will be suspended starting from February 1, while, Beijing and Guangzhou flights from February 4, until further notice.

This decision is a part of the necessary measures taken to counter the outbreak of Coronavirus across China and several countries as well, in order to preserve the safety and health of the customers traveling onboard these flights.

The suspension decision came in light of EgyptAir commitment to the return of the tourist groups which are currently being in Egypt, as the last Chinese tourist group will leave next Feb. 4.

The Civil Aviation Ministry, in coordination with the EgyptAir Integrated Operation Center and the concerned authorities, are following the developments of the situation to take the flight resumption decision.
