EgyptAir announced that one of its flights changed its course and made an emergency landing at Athens International Airport after it was heading to Benina Airport in Benghazi, Libya due to bad weather conditions.
EgyptAir said that the plane had to change its course with 111 passengers on board, due to the lack of visibility due to dust and the difficulty of landing at the airport. Therefore, the flight path was changed to the planned alternative airport, which is Athens International Airport.
