EgyptAir announced on Sunday the gradual resumption of selected flights to the United Arab Emirates, beginning Monday, as regional aviation authorities coordinate the restoration of air travel amid evolving security conditions in the Middle East.
In an official statement, the Egyptian flag carrier said it will restart operations to Sharjah with one daily flight, while increasing service to Dubai with two daily flights, starting Monday.
The airline also confirmed that daily flights to Abu Dhabi will resume beginning Tuesday, following coordination with authorities at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
The decision comes in light of recent developments in the region and ongoing consultations with civil aviation authorities across Gulf countries to ensure safe and orderly air traffic operations.
EgyptAir indicated that the phased return of flights aims to restore connectivity for travelers while maintaining strict operational and safety coordination with regional aviation regulators.
Airlines across the Middle East have been adjusting flight schedules in response to heightened regional tensions, with several carriers suspending or rerouting flights over recent days due to airspace restrictions and security concerns.
EgyptAir advised passengers to check updated flight schedules and travel advisories through its official channels before heading to the airport, as operational adjustments may continue depending on regional developments.
