Egypt welcomed the US administration’s decision to resume economic, development, and humanitarian aid to Palestinians, including the resumption of UNRWA funding, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Hafez said on Thursday.
In a press statement, Hafez said that the decision would contribute to alleviating the suffering of the Palestinians, as well as providing material support in the face of unprecedented economic and humanitarian challenges.
Moreover, the statement praised the US decision as it reflects the administration in dealing with regional issues.
