Egypt welcomed today, Wednesday, the 30th batch of injured individuals from Gaza through the Rafah border crossing, consisting of 37 wounded and ill Palestinians and 57 accompanying them.

The medical teams are on high alert to receive the remaining injured individuals scheduled to enter as part of this batch, as part of Egypt's ongoing humanitarian efforts to support the Palestinian people.

Upon the injured arriving at the Egyptian side of the Rafah crossing, they were transported by equipped ambulances to the El-Arish General Hospital, where they underwent initial medical examinations to assess their health conditions.

The 29th batch had arrived the day before yesterday through the Rafah crossing, comprising 25 wounded and ill individuals, 32 of whom were transported to Egyptian hospitals for continued treatment. These efforts are in line with the continuous directives from the political leadership to provide full support for the Palestinian wounded and facilitate their treatment in Egypt.

Major General Khaled Mujawar, the Governor of North Sinai, affirmed that the governorate continues to provide facilities to receive the Palestinian wounded, noting that the North Sinai hospitals have been supported with specialized medical staff and the latest medical equipment to ensure the provision of necessary treatment services at the highest level. He added that there is ongoing coordination between the relevant authorities to ensure the swift transfer of the injured to the appropriate hospitals.

It is noteworthy that since the onset of the crisis, Egypt has received numerous injured Palestinians, who have been treated in hospitals in El-Arish, Ismailia, and Cairo, amidst comprehensive medical care aimed at saving lives and alleviating the suffering of the wounded and their families.
