The new industrial complexes for spinning and weaving are about to start actual production scheduled for the beginning of next year from the Mahalla spinning factories according to the best international standards and taking into account all the details while greatly reducing pollutants and benefiting from transformation programs for the green economy and protecting the environment using modern technology at a cost of more than 23 billion pounds.
Dr. Eng. Mahmoud Esmat, Minister of the Public Enterprise Sector, affirmed the ministry's keenness to advance the spinning, weaving, and ready-made garments industry, as one of the most important industries for the national economy.
He pointed to the importance of upgrading the sector's exports to various regional and global markets, especially in light of the great competitiveness of Egyptian products in the markets. Foreign affairs and the distinguished reputation of Egyptian cotton globally.
