Egypt's Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities issued a warning to its citizens against traveling to Ethiopia due to the continued military conflict at Tigray.

Moreover, it sent an alert to the Egyptian citizens in Ethiopia to be cautious as the violent attacks are increasing between Tigray troops and the national Ethiopian army.

Before traveling to Ethiopia for work, citizens should take permission from the Ethiopian Embassy in Cairo.

It is worthy to mention that the national Ethiopian army started a military operation towards Tigray's capital, Mek’ele.

This operation was described by Prime President Abiy Ahmed as the final step to control the rebellious region in Ethiopia.
