Egypt has urged its citizens currently in the Somaliland region to leave as soon as possible through Hargeisa Airport.
It emphasized that the current security situation in the Somaliland region limits the ability to provide any consular assistance to Egyptians there, as reported by Cairo News Channel in a breaking news announcement.
Furthermore, Egypt called on those planning to visit any of the regions of the Federal Republic of Somalia to fully comply with the regulations and procedures set by the relevant authorities of the Federal Government of Somalia.
