UK Minister of State for the Middle East and North Africa James Cleverly and Egyptian Ambassador to Britain discuss the latest developments in Jerusalem.
"Today I spoke to Tarek Adel, Egyptian Ambassador to the UK, about how our two countries can work together to urge de-escalation of violence in Israel and the OPTs," Cleverly tweeted.
"As we approach Eid, both sides must exercise restraint and bring an end to the bloodshed and civilian casualties," he added.

It is worth mentioning that, Palestinian Health Ministry announced on Wednesday that 56 people including 14 children and 3 women were killed, and 304 were wounded, as a result of the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
On Monday, Israeli police forces injured hundreds of Palestinians as they violently cracked down on worshippers at Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.
