On Thursday, Egyptian-Turkish delegations concluded the first explanatory talks between both states hosted in Cairo.
Deputy Foreign Minister for African Affairs Hamdi Sanad Loza discussed with his Turkish counterpart Sedat Önal several common interest topics including the Syrian, Libyan, and Iraqi related isssues. The talks characterized by honesty and deepness.
In addition, they also asserted the necessity of obtaining peace in the Eastern Meditteranean region. Both states will evaluate the results of this round and agree upon the upcoming steps.
This round of talks started on Wednesday immediately after the arrival of the Turkish delegation in Cairo.
