Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health, said, Tuesday, that the developed COVID-19 Pfizer will be distributed as a booster shot.
Abdel Ghaffar expressed that the developed vaccine is effective against the latest mutations of Omicron, and other strains, therefore, the ministry decided to use it as a booster shot.
He added that the latest received Pfizer patch will be distributed to all vaccination centers nationwide.
Therefore, Abdel Ghaffar urged all citizens to receive COVID-19 vaccines, adding that the ministry developed all COVID-19 treatment protocols in accordance with the developments of the virus.
