Egypt to See Unstable Weather in Upcoming Days

The Director of the Center of Analysis and Weather Forecasts Dr. Mahmoud Shahin said that Egypt will see more temperatures drop, and he asked residents to wear winter clothes, RT reported on Wednesday.

After that, the official expressed that the temperatures on Saturday and Sunday will reach through the day 15°C degrees, in addition, heavy showers will fall in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the northern parts of Upper Egypt with the presence of thunderstorms, and frost.

In the same context, Shahin reflected that cities located beside the Mediterranean will face unstable weather, unlike the cities located beside the Red Sea.

Regarding the aftermath of climate change, the weather expert explained that Egypt started to be affected by the climate change which caused several phenomena such as snowfall and heavy showers in Aswan, however, those impacts are still limited.

It is expected that Cairo will see moderate weather on Thursday, with a presence of heavy fog in the early hours of the morning.

Drizzle is expected to fall throughout the day on the north coast, Sinai, and parts of Lower Egypt.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 25°C in Cairo, 24°C in Alexandria, 27°C in Sohag, 29°C in Qena, and 31°C in Aswan.
