Egypt to See Slight Rise in Temperatures on Tuesday, Cairo 18C

On Monday, the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) revealed that the country will see a relative rise in temperatures throughout this week, starting tomorrow Tuesday.

The EMA added that moderate weather is predicted to prevail on the northeastern coasts, central Sinai, South Sinai, Red Sea Mountains and Upper Egypt.

The weather will be very cold at night in all parts of the country ranging between -1 and 13C degrees, with frost cover in northeastern coasts, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt.

It also warned of suspended dust in areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, Canal cities, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt. Active winds blow up sand and dust on areas of the western coast. Weather will also be partly cloudy in most parts of the country.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate ranging between 1.5 and two meters in height with southwestern surface winds. Waves in the Red Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between one and 1.5 meters in height with northwestern surface winds.

Maximum temperatures are as follows:

Alexandria and Cairo: 18C

Qena and Sharm el-Sheikh: 19C

Luxor, Aswan and Hurghada: 20C
