The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot and humid weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and North Coast, during daylight hours on Sunday.
Temperatures will witness an increase, today.
Extremely hot and humid weather is also expected to hit South Sinai and the South of the country.
Winds will occur occasionally across the country. Sometimes, they will be dusty ones.
There is also a chance of light rain, thunderous sometimes, prevailing in South Sinai, and south of the Red Sea mountain ranges.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 and 1.75 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
The Red Sea will experience turbulent waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2.5 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Moreover, moderate and humid weather is also expected to prevail from the north of the country to the north of Upper Egypt, at night.
Moderately hot and humid weather is also expected to hit South Sinai and the South of the country.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 35°C in Cairo, 31°C in Alexandria, 32°C in Matruh, 42°C in Sohag, 45°C in Qena, and 45°C in Aswan.
