Egypt is expected to see a large-scale cabinet reshuffle of at least 15 ministers of Moustafa Madbouly’s government in November.
TV presenter Mohamed El Baz confirmed that the coming days will see a cabinet reshuffle of at least 15 to 21 ministers, adding that there will be a comprehensive change of senior officials, including ministers and governors.
El-Baz expected that the coming reshuffle will unseat the ministers of Industry and Health.
On his part, journalist Yasser Rizk, chairman of the state-owned Al-Akhbar daily, confirmed President El-Sisi’s intention to hold a cabinet reshuffle in November, anticipating that only 10 ministers will be unseated.
In an interview with TV anchor Ahmed Mousa’s talk show “Ala Masoulity” On my responsibility, he said that the prime minister Madbouly will remain in office along with ministers of Electricity, Endowments, Planning.
According to parliamentary sources, the General Intelligence Service and Administrative Control Authority summoned a number of current ministers over the past two weeks to discuss what they have accomplished since their appointment.

He added that a big number of MPs have strong reservations about the performance of some cabinet ministers and the role of the government in protecting Egyptians with limited incomes from the impact of the IMF-inspired economic reform program.
There are reports that a cabinet reshuffle is imminent; MP Mostafa Bakri said that a reshuffle will be announced following President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi's return from his visit to Germany.
He pointed out that a number of service sector ministers are expected to leave the government," said Bakri, adding that "the new make-up of the government will be sent to parliament to be put up for a vote, in line with the constitution.
