Egypt to receive new batch of Russian trains next week

Egypt will receive a new batch of Russian trains next week, within the framework of the largest railway deal signed between Cairo, and Moscow.

 

The next batch will be shipped from Russia by sea to the port of Alexandria, and it will be officially received next week.

 

Moreover, sources added that the batch consists of 13 normal vehicles with dynamic ventilation.

 

It is worth mentioning that, the deal, signed between the Egyptian Railways Authority and Russian-Hungarian company Transmashholding, is the largest in the history of Egypt’s railways, with a value of €1.16 billion ($1.8 billion).
