Al Qahera News Channel reported in breaking news that Egypt will receive a delegation from Hamas in Cairo tomorrow to discuss developments in the truce situation in the Gaza Strip, According to a high-level Egyptian source.
Hamas is studying a proposal for a 40-day ceasefire and a deal to exchange Israeli detainees in the Gaza Strip in exchange for the release of Palestinian prisoners from occupation prisons.
A delegation from the Hamas movement held talks in Cairo earlier, then left to study the latest proposals.
Egyptian sources reported to Al Qahera News Channel last Monday that the Hamas delegation would return again with a written response to the truce deal proposal.
This comes in light of the Egyptian state’s continued efforts to facilitate the flow and entry of food, humanitarian and medical aid to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, who are suffering from the scourge of war as a result of the Israeli aggression.
The Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to an unprecedented Israeli aggression on land, sea and air since October 7, has been living in extremely difficult humanitarian conditions, amounting to famine, as the occupation authorities continue to prevent and obstruct the arrival of humanitarian aid to the Strip, especially to the northern regions, while the aid arriving in the south of the Gaza Strip does not satisfy the needs of citizens, especially in Rafah, which is the last refuge for the displaced.
