Egypt to Host Regional, International Summit on Palestinian Issue

Egypt will host a regional and international summit to discuss the Palestinian issue and humanitarian crisis in Gaza on Saturday.

According to domestic reports, Egypt has extended an invitation to host an international regional summit in order to address developments and the future of the Palestinian issue.

Leaders from the United States, China, Russia, Turkey, the European Union, and Arab countries involved in the Palestinian issue will participate in the summit. Representatives from Jordan, Palestine, and Arab Gulf states, as well as international and regional organizations such as the United Nations and the Arab League have also been invited to attend.

"The summit will discuss best ways to reduce the escalation and stop targeting civilians," said Egypt's journalist Mustafa Bakri.

He also noted that Egypt stressed that there is no solution to the Palestinian issue except the two-state solution.
