Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi announced on Monday that Egypt will host a conference on “Early Recovery, Reconstruction, and Development” in the Gaza Strip, two years after the outbreak of the war.
In his remarks at the Sharm El-Sheikh Summit for Peace in Gaza, President Sisi said that Egypt will work with the United States and coordinate with all partners in the coming days to establish the joint foundations needed to move forward with Gaza’s reconstruction without delay.
“In this context, we intend to host the Conference on Early Recovery, Reconstruction, and Development,” Sisi stated.
The planned conference aims to mobilize international efforts and financial commitments to rebuild the devastated territory, restore essential infrastructure, and support long-term development for the Palestinian people following years of conflict.
