Egypt's Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli and his accompanying delegation inspected Thursday a project to establish a new visitor center at the Holy Valley Square in Saint Catherine City.
According to Housing Minister Assem El-Gazzar, the center is erected on an area of 3,170 square meters to serve as a pivotal reception and guidance point for tourists and visitors.
The minister said the center includes basic services such as an information office, souvenir shops, administrative offices, flight reservation offices, a restaurant, a cafeteria and a pharmacy, in addition to a planetarium for watching 3D films about the spiritual history of Saint Catherine and Mount Sinai.
The prime minister also inspected an exhibition of Bedouin projects, which showcases craft and heritage products that reflect the artistic and cultural character of Saint Catherine, in addition to a collection of traditional herbal products that the region is famous for.
