Egypt has expressed its strong condemnation of the continued Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip, denouncing what it described as "horrific crimes" committed against innocent and unarmed Palestinian civilians.

According to a statement released by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday, the latest wave of Israeli airstrikes targeted civilian and healthcare infrastructure, resulting in the deaths of over 100 Palestinians in a single day.

Egypt warned of the grave consequences of these actions, stating that such practices are a primary driver of the ongoing instability and insecurity plaguing the Middle East. The statement held the Israeli government fully responsible for the continuation of violations that contravene the most basic principles of international humanitarian law.

Reaffirming its unwavering support for the Palestinian people, Egypt emphasized the shared responsibility of the international community to confront the persistent injustice faced by Palestinians living under occupation. It stressed that this injustice runs counter to all international values and objectives, and called once again for the activation of mechanisms of accountability.

The statement concluded with a renewed call for concrete international efforts to protect the Palestinian people, support their resilience, and restore their legitimate rights—steps that, according to Egypt, are essential to preserving the credibility of the international rules-based order and preventing its collapse.
