Egypt strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted the gate of Aden International Airport Saturday evening, leaving 12 civilians dead and dozens injured.

“Egypt offers its deep condolence to the families of the victims,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement, wishing all the injured people a speedy recovery.

Egypt stressed full solidarity with Yemen against anything that could threaten its security and stability, highlighting its confidence that such horrific attacks will not undermine its determination to achieve prosperity for its people, according to the statement.

On his part, Yemeni Foreign Minister, Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, affirmed that Houthi violations have increased throughout the country, accusing the Houthis of becoming more bloody in targeting civilians as a result of their failure on the battlefield.

Moreover, Yemeni Prime Minister, Dr. Maeen Abdul-Malik, called on the Security Committee in Aden Governorate to conduct an urgent investigation into the circumstances of the terrorist bomb blast that hit this evening, near the gate of Aden Airport.
