Egypt Strongly Condemns Attack on Somali President’s Convoy

The Egyptian government has strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack targeting the convoy of Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, which resulted in multiple casualties.

In an official statement, Egypt expressed its deep outrage at the attack, describing it as a heinous act of terrorism aimed at destabilizing Somalia’s security and stability. The statement reaffirmed Egypt’s firm rejection of all forms of terrorism and violence, particularly those that threaten the safety and sovereignty of brotherly nations.

Egypt also emphasized its full solidarity with President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and the Somali people, reiterating its unwavering support for Somalia’s efforts to combat terrorism and maintain national stability.

Furthermore, Egypt extended its heartfelt condolences to the Somali government, the Somali people, and the families of the victims, while wishing a speedy recovery to those injured in the attack.
