Egypt Shows Solidarity with Moroccan Trapped Child “Rayan”

Embassy of Egypt in Rabat, Morocco, urged everyone to pray for the Moroccan child Rayan who has been trapped in a well hole for more than three days.

"Egypt expresses its sincere prayers for the rescue of Rayan and for his safe return to his family," the embassy said in a statement, stressing full solidarity with the Moroccan people.

In the same vein, it hails the considerable efforts made by the state agencies to save the child.

Media outlets reported that only 60 cm left to take the child out of the well, according to a Moroccan official involved in the rescue operations.

Rayan has been stuck for more than three days in a well in the village of Tamrout in the Chefchaouen region in northern Morocco continues. The rescue teams were able to supply the child with water and oxygen through special tubes.
