Egypt Set for a Hot Friday, Cairo 32°C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather will prevail in most parts of the country during Friday's daylight hours.

Moderately hot weather is also expected to prevail in the North Coast, while South Upper Egypt will experience scorching conditions.

The country also witnesses mist, extending into fog, on the agricultural and highway roads from the north of the country to Cairo, Canal Cities, Central Sinai, and North Upper Egypt.

There is a chance of light rainfall prevailing intermittently in the North Coast and North Lower Egypt.

Light rainfall will prevail intermittently in the North Coast and the North Lower Egypt.

Wind speeds between 30 and 40 kilometres per hour (km/h) are expected to occasionally occur across the country.

Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height varying between northwest and southwest surface winds.

Maritime navigation is also expected to be disrupted in

Waves in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Suez will be moderate to turbulent, ranging between 1.5 and 2.5 meters in height with northwest surface winds.

Moderate weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night, turning spring-like in the early morning.

The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 32°C in Cairo, 27°C in Alexandria, 25°C in Marsa Matruh, 34°C in Sohag, 38°C in Qena, and 37°C in Aswan.
