Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Migration Badr Abdelatty met with Marko Čadež, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, during his visit to Belgrade.
The meeting was followed by a discussion with representatives of Serbian companies, economic institutions, and business leaders at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
Abdelatty addressed various aspects of economic, trade, and investment cooperation between the two countries.
He praised the progress in bilateral relations and expressed Egypt's aspiration to elevate cooperation to meet the aspirations and interests of both peoples and support the developmental goals of both nations.
FM also highlighted Egypt's efforts in economic reform, implementing ambitious plans to attract direct investments, and improving the business environment, emphasizing the country’s commitment to supporting the private sector.
Moreover, Abdelatty also presented the investment opportunities available in Egypt across various promising sectors and stressed the importance of increasing trade exchange and boosting Serbian investments in Egypt. He underscored the need to activate the role of the Joint Business Council.
For his part, President of Serbian Chamber of Commerce commended the economic cooperation between the two countries and affirmed Serbia’s commitment to enhancing trade and investment ties for mutual benefit.
